She loves sweets more than anything, but there's a hint of something sinister in those playful eyes. Many customers report being both smitten with her and a tiny bit afraid of her. Luckily for those who are more faint of heart, Whisper is often behind the scenes, working on new candy creations or her latest Myxed Drink masterpiece.

Battyicake
This adorable little bat-like Pyxi grows from delicious mini cakes of the same name. They seem to be quite fond of the kitchen even after "birth" and can often be found perched on spice racks and cookbooks in active kitchens. The smell of baking cakes (and other sweet things) will draw them from great distances. Many agree that this smell leads a Battyicake to believe that more of it's own kind might be arriving soon!
Name Origin: Play on the word "bat" and the phrase "baby cake" to to reference the mini-cake that serves as this Pyxi's baby stage. Also, a reference to the English nursery rhyme "pattycake" (sometimes called "pat-a-cake") which is about, of course, baking cakes!

These feline style Pyxi emerge when delicious Confectionery gelato (Italian-style ice cream) is left to melt into sweet, rich cream. Like many felines, they have a penchant for cleanliness and a love of milky things. So, their first task in life is always licking all of the sticky cream from their fur. They have a sweet disposition and tend to be more active in colder environments. A Gelgatto left in a warm, sunny place will quickly melt into a purring puddle of sleeping kitty.
